SevenSeventeen was founded on the Sussex Coast in 2016 by two friends and former magazine journalists who shared a love of beautifully scented candles and a belief that a little everyday calm can make a big difference.

Today, the independently owned brand is run by co-founder Naomi Reilly, who continues to champion its original mission: creating mood-boosting candles and home fragrances that not only smell good but DO good.

Designed to help you find calm amidst the chaos, our collection of vegan-friendly candles, diffusers and home fragrances combines beautiful scents with uplifting messages. And with 10% of profits donated to mental health charities, we're proud to have raised over £64,000 for causes close to our hearts, including PANDAS Foundation and Sane.

Over the years, we've also created special-edition charity candles with some truly inspiring people, including Stacey Solomon, Dr Alex George and Giovanna Fletcher.

Each candle is hand-poured in England using sustainable soy wax, high-quality fragrance and essential oils, and natural cotton wicks. Featured in The Guardian and ELLE Decoration, our candles have been praised for their beautiful scents and simple design by beauty experts Sali Hughes and Caroline Hirons.

The name SevenSeventeen was inspired by that magical moment at 7.17pm when the founders' young children were finally tucked up in bed and there was time to light a candle, take stock and unwind.

Ten years on, that simple ritual remains at the heart of everything we do. A little reminder to pause, breathe and find calm amidst the chaos.
